Wearing your bra correctly can impact your comfort and the fit of your underwear throughout the day. Learn a few simple steps to make your bra more comfortable.

There are at least two ways to put on a bra with an integrated fastening in the back.

It is a mistake to fasten the clasp first and then pull the bra over your head. The clasp helps to open and close the bra easily. Some bras, like bralettes or sports bras, don't have a fastening and are meant to be pulled over the head. However, Rosmes doesn't offer any bras without clasps to ensure customer comfort.

The first way to put on a bra

Wrap the bra around you in the right direction. Let the cups of the bra cover your breasts, then put your hands through the shoulder straps. Then grasp the edge of the clasps and fasten them at the back. If you find it difficult or uncomfortable to fasten the clasps at the back, the following fastening method will be more suitable.

The second way to put on a bra

Wrap the bra around you from back to front (so the cups are in the back). First, fasten the clasps on the front of the bra, then turn it in the right direction. Next, put your arms through the shoulder straps and adjust the bra to fit your body correctly.

The third way to put on a bra

Front-fastening bras have several advantages, such as being easy to put on. This bra can be worn as a vest by putting your arms through the shoulder straps and then fastening the clasp. From our range, we recommend the non-wired bra from the ''Eliza'' collection. However, the width of the bra clasp in this type cannot be significantly changed (most front-fastening bras have one size of clasp) as it would affect the position of the breasts.

People often find that front-fastening bras are quicker and easier to put on because no twisting movements are required. However, the most popular bras are those with a back fastening, as the width and girth of the fastening can be adjusted. The most common closure has three widths, which affect both the circumference and the durability of the bra. Bras with three clasp widths can be used for longer as the circumference is stretched over time.

Shoulder strap adjustment

Once the bra is on, you can adjust the shoulder straps for a comfortable fit. The shoulder straps should be loose - they should not slip down when you move. However, they must not penetrate the skin and cause pressure on the shoulders. To check that the shoulder straps are correctly adjusted - can you put your fingertip loosely between your shoulder and the strap?

Feel the comfort

After adjusting the bra - place your breasts in the cups so that you feel comfortable and nothing causes discomfort. To check the fit of your chosen bra, lean forward and move your arms and body. If your breasts slip out of the cups when you move, the bra is too small; if there is too much space between the breasts and the cups, the bra is too big.
